Abstract

The article investigates the state of the cell membranes of vital organs and activity of antioxidant enzymes of cells in diabetes. Studies have shown that the development of diabetes is characterized by increased levels of lipid peroxidation and changes in the enzymatic activity of superoxide dismutase and catalase.
