Abstract

The influence of certain amino acids on the formation of the antibacterial antibiotic-peptolide A-70 was investigated. There was determined the positive influence of valine, glutаmine and phenylalanine on accumulation of the antibiotic A-70 in culture broth: biosynthesis of the antibiotic increased by 11.1-13.3%. Asparagine, arginine, alanine, cysteine, proline, leucine, and lysine inhibit biosynthesis of the antibiotic A-70.
