Seed storage proteins as the markers for the initial kazakhstan colored pericarp rice breeding

Seed storage protein identification of 11 rice varieties, 9 collection samples and 12 hybrids from the IPBB collection were conducted. Electrophoresis of storage proteins was carried out by method of Laemmli. Optimum conditions were selected for isolation and fractionation of rice glutelin. As a result of this research in red grain sample Ko 296 R revealed intense protein spectra with molecular weight of about 55 kDa, whereas the other red grain forms of this component weakly expressed. In the spectrum of seed storage proteins in genotype Black rice (China) with anthocyanin coloration observed manifestation of intense protein bands with molecular weights of 55 and 60 kDa, which confirms specificity of this genotype.The "verity" of F1 hybrids of 12 combinations from the IPBB breeding was confirmed by the presence of components of both parental forms.Issue
