Organ specific mutagenic effects of chemical pollutants

The studies using highly sensitive comet assay in mice detected genotoxicity of unsymmetrical dimethylhydrazine, N-nitrosodimethylamine and fipronil. Genotoxic effects were in DNA single-strand breaks in cells of the lung, spleen, liver and kidneys. As the dose of this contaminants increases were raised their DNA-damaging effect. It is established the different sensitivity of visceral organs to genotoxic effects of xenobioticsDownloads
