Abstract

The aim of the research is to study the micropropagation features of Crocus alatavicus – the endemic species of flora of Kazakhstan. Regeneration and morphogenesis of isolated tissues and organs are investigated. The morphogenetic reactions are dependent on the initial stage of plant, nature and the physiological state of the primary explant. Regeneration occurs through the activation of growth of axillary buds existing resume, bookmark adventitious buds at the base of the shoots and induced callus tissue of corms.
