Peculiarities of the distribution of melanin in the hair Karakul lambs

Abstract

The animal world is rich with colorful paints, among them, the breed of Karakul sheep of different variety of color paints. In article the question of distribution of melanin along length of hair the of Karakul lambs is investigated. In fibers Bukhara gray and yellowish lambs melanin meets in the form of small sparks. Because of good development of a melanotsit in black, brown, Surkhan-Darya and Karakalpak breeds, melanin is distributed more densely in fibers, and light tips of hair differ in total absence of melanin.
