Fundamentals of sustainable forest management in the juniper forests of South Kyrgyzstan

Abstract

In this article has been shown the issues of sustainable forest management of juniper forests of South Kyrgyzstan. The article provides an assessment of natural regeneration of juniper, considered decisions on reforestation and forest management, which would offer you the organization of complex forest works, forest and environmental protection measures in the juniper forests and woodlands of southern Kyrgyzstan. In our research we studied the theory of introduction and acclimatization of woody plants in the juniper forests, while the ecological characteristics of individual species. As a result of the research will be prepared publications of agronomic guidelines for forestation, recommendations and guidelines for collecting seeds, planting material and creation of forest plantations approved by the Board of Department of forestry and the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
