Abstract

This article presents the results of a comparative analysis of nucleotide sequences of Kazakhstan strains bacteria Brucella abortus genes virb1, virb3, virb5 and virulence protein (virP) with using computer programs Vector NTI Suite 9 and BLAST. According to the analysis revealed that the gene virb1 of kazahstan strains when compared to the strains from GenBank B. abortus, str A13334, B. abortus and B. abortus 544 with the ID number AF226278.1, has a single nucleotide substitution C to T at position 96, which leads to amino acid substitution to Ala Thr. The results of the comparative analysis of gene virP strains from GenBank showed that the observed substitutions in the nucleotide sequence of G to A and A to C at positions 145 and 612, respectively
